Welcome, and hello from Dr Yolandé

Thank you for stopping by. If you're here, chances are you're a parent looking for someone to look after your little one, and I'd love to be that person.

A bit about me: I'm a paediatrician based at Life Groenkloof Hospital in Pretoria. I studied at the University of Pretoria, did my internship in Port Elizabeth and my community service in East London, and I've been looking after children ever since. I'm also a mom of two daughters, which has taught me at least as much as my training did about what parents actually need.

Whatever brings you in, from a first well-baby check-up to a question that has been on your mind for weeks, no problem is too small or too big, and every question is a good one.

I believe parents and their children are a unit. You will be part of every decision we make, and you'll leave with a plan you understand. And because a visit to the doctor should feel friendly, our rooms are painted with playful bunnies and we do our best to make each consultation as fun as possible.
